Starfish:
9am to 12pmStarfish is an introductory marine program
aimed at students ages
4-7 years who are interestedin sailing, but aren't quite ready. Students
will learn swimming, local ecology, and
experience a marine environment.
Week 2

: 9am to 4pmIntroductory sailing class for those with little or
no previous sailing experience. Sailors learn
knots, terms, boat safety, and how to sail their
own boat. The minimum recommended age is
7 years.

9am to 4pmAdvanced sailors will master double handed
sailing in 420ʼs. Sailors will learn spinnaker,
trapeze, and most of all teamwork. It is recommended
that sailors enroll for two weeks at a
time.

Opti Racing:
10am to 5pmFor opti sailors who are ready to take it to the
next level, and make their boats move as fast
as possible! Sailors will learn boat handling,
starts, and basic tactics.
Week 3

120 USD per week420 Racing:
10am to 5pmLevel 3&4 sailors who want to push the limits
of what they can do will love this course. Skills
will include boat tuning and setup, boat handling,
and 420 tactics.
Week 7 only

120 USD per weekLaser Racing:
10am to 5pmThe ultimate in speed! Learn how to sail the
worlds most challenging and popular single
handed boat. Sailors will focus on boat handling
and fi tness.
Week 3 only

120 USD per weekClasses are held at the Anguilla
Youth Sailing Club located in Sandy
Ground across the street from the
Pumphouse
Sailors should bring lunch. There are places
on the beach to buy lunch, but they are unreliable.
Sailors should also bring a change of
clothes, a towel, sunscreen, water shoes, and
a water bottle. Sailors should be comfortable
swimming in deep water.
A 50% deposit is required in order to reserve
a spot. Full payment must be received seven
days before the beginning of the course. We
have a strong scholarship program that ensures
everyone has the opportunity to sail.
